Fresher’s party 2k24
The Department of Information Technology hosted a grand Fresher’s party to welcome the Second Year (SE) students and celebrate their entry into the academic family. The event also recognized academic achievers and outstanding performers, setting a positive and celebratory tone for the year ahead.
FE Toppers and SE Toppers were felicitated by the HODs from different departments, celebrating their dedication to academic excellence. TE IT student Pranav Pagar was recognized for their victory in the swimming competition, receiving accolades for their excellence in sports and extracurricular activities.
A major highlight of the event was the felicitation of the BE IT students, who secured 2nd place in the prestigious U.S.T Hackathon and won a prize of 5 lakh INR. This outstanding achievement was a source of immense pride for the department.
The evening concluded with an exciting ramp walk competition to select Mr. and Miss Fresher. After a spirited competition, the titles were awarded to Mr. Fresher was Piyush Munde and Miss Fresher was Isha Akhade
The celebration continued with a DJ night, where students enjoyed dancing to popular tracks for an hour, followed by a dinner to conclude the event. The DJ session added a lively, fun atmosphere, allowing students to relax and bond after the formal proceedings.
