Seminar organized by JSPM’s BSIOTR, IT Department on Placements & Higher studies opportunities through GATE and Competitive exams held on 1st Oct 2024. The resource person was Mr. Pawan Ghulage, Pune.
Objective:-
The primary objective of the orientation session was to provide students with comprehensive insights into career opportunities available through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and other competitive exams. The event aimed to guide students on pathways for placements and higher education. The seminar highlighted both employment and higher education pathways available through competitive exams like GATE, GRE, CAT, and other public sector entrance exams.
This session focused on the advantages of pursuing higher studies through GATE. The facilitator discussed the benefits of a master’s or doctorate degree in engineering and sciences, including better job prospects, opportunities in research and development, and scholarships such as the MHRD scholarship.
